Capt Eric Herstedt - Flamingo

Hurricane Charlie has come and gone and the Flamingo fishing has shown no effects from the storm. There are lots of Tarpon around, both big and small. First and last light are typically the best time of day to spot them feeding. The fishing for Reds and Snook on the oceanside is excellent right now. The Redfish can get very spooky and boat shy. Use a long flourocarbon leaders with a small Bonefish fly like a tan Borski Bonefish Slider or Kwan when the fish are being skittish.
